Going to Bali brought me home to the best friend I never had
My experience in Bali was one of powerful transformation. My intension was set and my tired, over articulate life was put on hold while I reveled speechless in the invigorating energy of the island. In Bali a friendly rooster was my alarm clock set to go off with the sun (about 4:50am). This gave me just enough time to meditate and stretch before I enjoyed the chanting of a local man, who blessed me and the rest of the island just because he could. I dropped my labels of mother, teacher, wife, and daughter and reconnected with just me. I chased butterflies, dragonflies, and other assorted insects that lay in wait on beautiful foliage, while never feeling more present, grounded, yet divinely connected in my life. I was made lighter by the healing waters ceremony and humbled by the ancient Hindu temple. Monkeys blessed me with their affection as did the locals. Every experience carried the gentle balance of human and nature. Oh, and the yoga was magnificent as well. Going to Bali brought me home to the best friend I never had: myself. For this, I will always return to Bali.

Mahadev’s approach to Yogic Practice is a blend of cutting-edge scientific research integrated with the ancient teachings of Kundalini Yoga. His universal teachings transcend cultural and demographic boundaries to be understood and appreciated by everyone.
