We are staying at an incredible boutique resort, in the small village of Ubud – Bali’s cultural center and one of the most popular yoga destinations in the world. A mixture of ethnic and modern, the eco-friendly hotel offers new, luxurious rooms, a large beautiful swimming pool, an open yoga & meditation studio, an al fresco restaurant, a nicely landscaped garden adorned with classic Balinese statues and wonderful views of the rice fields. Healthy, organic meals are prepared by the local chefs. Breathtaking views of rice field terraces, lively local markets, delicious island cuisine and the heart of Balinese culture. This and more is what you can expect to find in Ubud, surrounded by the most amazing, open, loving people you’ve ever met.

Famous artists and writers from the world over have found peace and serenity in the hills of Ubud, including Elizabeth Gilbert who wrote about Ubud in the best seller EAT PRAY LOVE. We will be staying minutes away from where the famous movie was filmed!

“The Bali retreat was indeed the trip of a lifetime. Ubud is a magical place.  I enjoyed the experience of yoga with beautiful people of all ages from all over the world.”Bobbie King

“Experiencing Bali with the people of RYK was a life changing experience. I feel like I received in one week the amount of spiritual and emotional growth that could take months or even years.”Cory Brown

“I totally connected to the spiritual energy of Bali through the special water purification ceremony and blessing. I greatly enjoyed the traditional lunch surrounded by the lotus pond and paddy fields”.Ebe

“My experience in Bali was one of powerful  transformation.  My intension was set and my tired, over articulate life was put on hold while I reveled speechless in the invigorating energy of the island.  In Bali a friendly rooster was my alarm clock set to go off with the sun (about 4:50am).  This gave me just enough time to meditate and stretch before I enjoyed the chanting of a local man, who blessed me and the rest of the island just because he could.  I dropped my labels of mother, teacher, wife, and daughter and reconnected with just me.   I chased butterflies, dragonflies, and other assorted insects that lay in wait on beautiful foliage, while never feeling more present, grounded, yet divinely connected in my life.  I was made lighter by the healing waters ceremony and humbled by the ancient Hindu temple.  Monkeys blessed me with their affection as did the locals.  Every experience carried the gentle balance of human and nature.  Oh, and the yoga was magnificent as well 😉 Going to Bali brought me home to the best friend I never had: myself.  For this, I will always return to Bali.” Deanna
